María José Jurado, awarded at the EIT awards 2020

María José Jurado, PI and coordinator of the INNOLOG project, was awarded with the third prize in the EIT Innovators Award 2020, a prize given by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). This award recognizes the innovation of Jurado and Innolog project team, funded by EIT Raw Materials, and it was announced on 9th of December on an online ceremony.

INNOLOG professional training workshop succesfully held in Pamplona

The EIT Raw Materials INNOLOG project organized the professional training workshop on “Innovative Technologies in Exploration and Mineral Detection“, which was held in Pamplona from 10th to 11th of March 2020. The workshop is part of professional training and outreach activities of the INNOLOG project.

2nd Practical Workshop on Innovative technologies in exploration and mineral detection

The second edition of the practical workshop on “Innovative technologies in exploration and mineral detection” will be held in Barcelona next 12th and 13th of December. As part of INNOLOG professional training and outreach activities, this workshop will provide attendants with an overview on the latest advances and state of the art of innovative downhole imaging and analytical techniques of interest for mineral exploration/exploitation. In this second edition the workshop will focus on the practical use of hyperspectral imaging techniques and also on most recent and new innovations.

Practical workshop on Innovative technologies in exploration and mineral detection

A practical workshop on innovative technologies in exploration and mineral detection was held in Barcelona in December 2017 (13th-14th). The workshop provided a view of last advances and state of the art of imaging techniques being used in mineral exploration. This first edition was mainly focused on hyperspectral imaging techniques but also other innovative techniques were presented like microwave technologies, x-ray and laser-based techniques.
